Taking Your Exam

• Please make note of planned outages of the Prometric Prime exam system before planning to sit your exam. 
• Before taking the exam, please review the Apple Certification Program Agreement.
• Please note that you may not use any study materials, including the book, or open the application while taking your exam.
• To take your exam online, follow these instructions:
  
  1. Log in to http://ibt.prometric.com/apple with your Prime user name and password.
  2. Click Continue.
  3. Click Change Domain on the left, and click IT & Pro Apps.
  4. Click Take a Test in the Candidate menu.
  5. Enter the keycode: ACTCRCT9 in the Private Tests field and click Submit.*
  6. Click Continue to skip the voucher then enter your credit card information.
  7. Click Begin Test at the bottom of the page.

Retake Policy

• If you do not pass an exam, you may retake the exam after seven (7) twenty four (24) hour periods have passed from the completion of your last attempt.

Displaying Your Credentials

After passing an exam, you will receive an email with a PDF certificate, along with instructions on how to order a printed certificate. You will also receive an email about logging into the Apple Certification Records System, where you can:

• Update your profile information and opt in to display your Apple Certification(s) on the Apple Certified Professionals Registry.
• Review your certification progress.
• Download your certification logo(s) to use on business cards, resume, website, job sites, and more.
• Provide access to employers to verify your certifications.
• Access a multitude of resources tailored to you.

* Please do not share this code. Only individuals who have ACTC 10.5 certification are eligible to take the ACTC 10.6 Recertification exam.
