iLife and iWork Associate Certification
Professionals, educators and students can earn Apple Certified Associate certification to validate their skills in Apple's digital lifestyle and authoring applications, iLife and iWork. The iLife '09 suite of digital authoring tools comes with every Mac: iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iDVD, and iWeb. The iWork '09 suite of productivity tools includes Pages for producing professional looking documents, Numbers for creating spreadsheets, tables and charts, and Keynote for developing high-quality presentations. You can download a free trial of iWork '09.
Differentiate yourself to schools, potential employers, and prospective clients as an Apple Certified Associate, and gain a competitive edge in the ever-changing job market. To become an Apple Certified Associate for iLife '09 or iWork '09, you must pass the corresponding exam administered at the end of the associated training courses at an Apple Authorized Training Center (AATC) or Apple Authorized Training Center for Education (AATCE). Exams are also offered separately during Exam Days at AATCs. If you prefer to learn on your own or believe you already have the required knowledge, you may take the exam at an AATC for a fee or purchase the corresponding Apple Training Series book which includes a code to take the exam online for $45.00USD.
Associate Training and Certification Program for High Schools
Schools in the US or Canada can offer Associate certification and training to their students. An eligible school must have at least one teacher who has earned iLife ’09 or iWork ’09 Trainer certification by passing the associated trainer exams. For information on how your teachers can become certified, please visit the Associate Certification Program for Education page. Please note this program is only available in the United States and Canada. Outside the US and Canada, students can take the exams at an AATC or AATCE.
