Apple Certified Trainer for Pro Applications
The Apple Certified Trainer (ACT) for Pro Apps program trains and certifies qualified individuals to deliver curriculum focused on Apple's suite of digital Pro Apps. ACTs work with Apple Authorized Training Centers (AATCs) to deliver a range of courses.
Learn more about the ACT program and complete the online Apple Certified Trainer application at: training.apple.com/act/. Be sure to specify the trainer certifications that you want to pursue. The application will be reviewed by Apple, and you must meet all prerequisites to be accepted into the program. Please allow at least seven business days for your application to be processed.
When your eligibility is confirmed, you'll receive an email with information on the trainer certifications that you've chosen. The email also includes details on the Apple Pro Training Series courseware for you to review, including a link to order the book online at a 35% discount.
Apple Certified Trainer for Motion
Before you can earn Motion 4 ACT status, you must first be accepted into the Pro Apps ACT Program and earn your Final Cut Pro 7 ACT status by attending the FCP Train-the-trainer (T3) course. Then you can elect to pursue Motion ACT certification as your next training delivery certification.
To become an Apple Certified Trainer, Level One in Motion, you do not need to attend a Motion T3 course. You must pass the trainer certification exam. Details on how to take the exam are provided once your Motion trainer application is accepted. Please note, you must have an accepted application for each certification that you hope to earn.
Motion Level One Trainer certification also counts towards the new Final Cut Studio (FCS) Master Trainer Certification. FCS Master Trainer certification recognizes a certified trainer's skills with the entire Final Cut Studio product suite. Since workflow is such a significant component of Final Cut Studio, trainers need certification in multiple applications to earn Master Certification.
