Apple Certified Trainer for IT
This intensive, four-day course prepares training professionals to deliver Apple's Leopard 101 course. The course combines lectures with hands-on exercises that reinforce practical skills, peer and instructor feedback, and group discussion. Participants will be expected to deliver pre-assigned sections of the course content and provide constructive feedback. In addition to the Leopard 101 content, this T3 provides an introduction to delivering Apple's IT training curriculum.
This course meets one of the requirements necessary to become an IT Apple Certified Trainer for Leopard 101. To fulfill the T3 requirement, candidates must attend the Leopard 101 T3 course, demonstrate presentation skills, training abilities, and an understanding of the course content, as well as contribute to class discussions and peer reviews. Attendees will be informed whether they've passed the T3 within 10 days after completing it.
Prerequisites
Candidates must meet the following prerequisites prior to attending this course:
- Have attended the Leopard 101 course as a student
- Have submitted an ACT application, and been accepted into the ACT program
- Have passed the Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.5 Exam at the trainer cut score of 90%
- Have passed the Mac OS X Server Essentials v10.5 Exam at the student cut score of 69%
- Have experience teaching in a structured classroom setting
- Have thoroughly reviewed the book: Mac OS X Support Essentials by Kevin M. White, as well as the Leopard 101 Student Workbook.

Apple Certified Trainer for IT
To attend an IT Train-the-Trainer (T3) course, candidates must first be accepted into the Apple Certified Trainer (ACT) program. This program trains and certifies qualified individuals to deliver curriculum focused on Apple's suite of technologies. ACTs work with Apple Authorized Training Centers (AATCs) to deliver a range of end-user courses.
Apply for admission by completing the online ACT application. The application will be reviewed by the Apple IT Training team. You must meet all prerequisites to be accepted into the program. Please allow at least seven business days for your application to be processed.
