Course Description
This two-day, hands-on course introduces students to the primary feature set and basic interface of Final Cut Pro. In this course, you'll learn to perform basic editing functions while familiarizing yourself with the user interface. Topics include basic setup, adjusting and customizing preferences and settings, capturing video and audio, various editing and trimming techniques, Ripple, Roll, Slip and Slide tools, audio editing and audio creation, finishing and final output.
Who Should Attend
This class is designed for anyone looking to edit professional-quality video with Final Cut Pro and who prefers hands-on and interactive instruction to best explore its functionality. Also desirable: an understanding of Mac OS X and basic computer navigation. Students interested in certification may prefer to attend FCP 101 or FCP 200.

This course covers most of the knowledge necessary to become an Apple Certified Pro, Level One in Final Cut Pro. Level One certification is granted upon successful completion of the Final Cut Pro, Level One exam. Apple Authorized Training Centers offer this exam either as part of the course or separately.
This certification also counts towards Final Cut Studio Master Pro certification which recognizes competency with the entire Final Cut Studio product suite.
